Fascia boards provide important ventilation and damp prevention to the roofline, but they can also be difficult and time consuming to maintain, Middlebrook Property Maintenance can supply and fit PVCU fascia Boards which only need a wipe over to clean taking all the hard work out of preparing and painting wooden types of fascia boards. Over 90% of installations of PVCU fascia boards are just cap covers, basically this is just a cap that is placed over existing timberwork. Unfortunately this method causes the timber to sweat and increases the speed of the timber rotting. If your fascia timber has been screwed to the roofing rafters this is not a good situation as in time this will cause dry rot throughout the roof.

• Our Fascia Board installation involves the removal of all old materials before commencing the installation of new fascia boards and soffits. Other installers may take the quick route and simply fix the new fascia board over the top of old boards but this may well cause damp in years to come.
